The Blind Lady Custom Blinds Certifications and Education
In October 2003, Jane became a Hunter Douglas Window Fashions Certified Professional Installer after attending a week-long seminar in Chicago and using her Knowledge to offer trained professional installation.
When Hunter Douglas launched its Certified Program, Jane was the first out of eighty to become certified in 2008 and has been re-certified annually since the program’s start. With the ever-changing window treatment industry, Knowledge is key.
Hunter Douglas Window Fashion Institute added its top-level degree of Window Covering Professional Certification. Jane was among the first group to become certified in product and performance degrees at the Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum levels.
Jane Hamilton completed the Heritance Hardwood Shutters Excellence Training on September 16, 2003. Jane then became an authorized sales agent and installer for this Hunter Douglas product.
In June 2005, Jane completed the Professional Window Covering Sales & Customer Service program in Baltimore, Maryland. This course was taught by industry leaders Steve Bursten and Joann Brezette.
